Use Gladwear as a Microwave Pasta Cooker
At a recipe site I subscribe to there has been a lot of discussion lately about the various pasta cookers that have been advertised. I use a 5 cup Gladwear container. I fill it half way with water, add 4 oz pasta, put lid on then loosen the lid at one corner. Cook in microwave for four minutes.

Use Your Microwave For Warm Brownie Desserts
I was reading something the other day about taking a personal size microwavable dish, pouring in a bit of a brownie or cake mix, adding a tiny bit of water and a dab of caramel ice cream topping, microwave for a few short seconds (or to your liking as to how done you want it) for your own version of Betty Crocker Warm Delights. They said the possibilities of different varieties someone could come up with on flavors were endless!!

Use Waxed Paper to Keep Your Microwave Clean
One of the hardest places to keep clean is the microwave since the kids and hubby also "cook" in it. That also means spills that no one "saw" and therefore did not clean up and then cooked again.

Microwave Soups With A Plate Underneath
I find by placing a salad or dinner plate under the bowl of soup or chili I am heating in the microwave oven certainly makes life easier when it's time to remove it.

Homemade Microwave Popcorn
Microwaved popcorn in a brown lunch bag! It's so easy my 10 year can do it. Just take 1/4 popcorn, slap as much butter and salt as you want and microwave for 2 minutes and 15 seconds. We just tape the bag closed. Easy as pie!

Reheating Bread, Pizza and Rolls in the Microwave
When reheating bread that has been refrigerated, put in the microwave with a cup of water. It saves pizza, pancakes, muffins and bread from getting dried out or rubbery.

Fat Free Microwave Popcorn
Simply place 1/4 cup of regular popcorn kernels in a paper lunch bag. Fold the end over a couple of times to seal and place in microwave for approximately 2 minutes. All microwaves are different, so watch and listen carefully!
