Tilly and Sophie (Calico Cats) * (14 Thumbs Up ratings.)

Tilly and Sophie are 3 months old and Calicos. My daughter's friend found the kittens abandoned in her garage. They were only about 3 weeks old.

They love to chase each other around the house. And they snuggle together when they sleep. They really love each other!

Petey (Boxer Mix) (13 Thumbs Up ratings.)

Petey aka "PDQ" is 8 weeks old. He is half boxer, one quarter English bull dog, one quarter German Shepard. My best friend's dog had an unexpected litter in Pennsylvania. The mom dog had 8 pups and Petey was the only white one in the bunch. I fell in love with him on the spot, (no pun intended,) so my friend sent him to us via air. What an adventure for such a young pup!

He is very curious, and loves to run and play in the back yard, chasing after Barkley and Scruffy, until he just drops on the spot and falls asleep. He'll to lay in your lap on his back and snooze like a baby.

The very first time my son and I saw him, we knew we had to name him Petey, (from The Little Rascals,) because of the patch over his eye. The name really suites him, because he is such a little rascal! He has gained 4 lbs in the last 2 weeks, and we are expecting him to be a big boy when he grows up. This photo was taken when he heard an airplane overheard for the first time.

Spooky The Cat (11 Thumbs Up ratings.)

I think Spooky is 6 years old. I don't know what breed he is, perhaps some Angora. Spooky comes for breakfast and dinner. He actually lives 3 houses away. He seems to be best friends with my cat Squirt.

He likes to catch mice and stalk squirrels. Spooky really is a sweet boy, he loves to be held and cuddled. He purrs so loudly that it's comforting to me. Spooky either sleeps at our house or his owner's house and gets a nice bowl of half and half every morning and just before I go to sleep.

In Memory Of Hatchet (11 Thumbs Up ratings.)

Hatchet was about 3 or 4 in this picture, she was a Heinz 57 mix. My daughter brought her home from a free puppies sign.

She loved to run and play. She talked to you, kinda like Scooby-doo, she knew how to open doors, we were working on learning to shut them too, she was a very smart girl.

Hatchet followed her friend Max, who lived next door, down the road to the main road and was hit and killed. She is sadly missed by her whole family.

Pooh Bear (Chinese Goose) (10 Thumbs Up ratings.)

Pooh Bear is a Chinese Goose, that we think is three months old. We've had Pooh about a month. He was a runt and since I've gotten him he has shown a malformed foot and wing. He is handicapped and loved.

We have many "critters" on our hobby farm, a lot of which are handicapped. I have a handicapped daughter so they fit right in. Pooh loves to swim and eat grass and chick starter. He is very tame with me and my daughter but is wary of my husband. He plays in the "corral" with the other critters during the day and sleeps in a cage at night.

He likes to swim and eat grass and chick starter. We have a pair of adult Chinese geese that have more or less adopted him. When he is in the corral with them and all the others, his daddy protects him and his mom stays close by him most of the time.

Lady (Pomeranian) (9 Thumbs Up ratings.)

Lady is a four year old Pomeranian. I got her 4 years ago as a birthday gift. She loves to grab hold of her 'boyfriend's' tail. He drags her all over the yard. A sight for sore eyes indeed!

In this photo, she is ready to go to a luau with us. She was the 'hit' of the party!

Trixie (Pug) (6 Thumbs Up ratings.)

Trixie is a two year old Pug. After much research into the perfect dog for children (young and old alike) that could handle apartment to farm lifestyle, we found Trixie from a local breeder in the area of FL, where we were living at the time.

Trixie is all "pug", she is a clown and loves to make people laugh. She has her own racetrack: she runs around the house. She enjoys playing ball, snuggling, walks, car rides. Unfortunately, when feeling a little retaliatory (if not taken for a car ride when the rest of the family leaves), she likes to rip through all the garbage pails and spread it all through the house.

Trixie is the life of our family and we love her very much! To us, there is no other dog as special as her!

Snickers (American Pit) (5 or less Thumbs Up ratings.)

Our little muffin Snickers is 5 years young :) She is an American Pit. My brother in-law had the mother. She had a litter and it was love at 8 weeks. She has been with me ever since. She likes to sleep and roll in the grass. Did I mention Sleep :) and she love to go bye bye. But don't say it too loud, she knows!

Snickers is the best dog in the world, she loves our family so much. She sleeps with us and is so loving. She loves her blankie, she will never sleep without it. You lay it on her when she is standing and she will then wind around so it's all tucked in then she will lay down :)

Gracie (Cat) (5 or less Thumbs Up ratings.)

Gracie 6 years old. My husband and I had one cat and decided our Elsa needed a buddy. So 4 years ago, we went to the Humane Society, where we also found Elsa, and we saw Gracie who looked like she could be Elsa's sister. So we brought Gracie home, but Elsa wanted nothing to do with her, but she has been a great companion and a sweet member of our family.

She loves to chase her "sister" Katie around the house and up and down the stairs. She loves the laser pointer, she chases the little dot.

We are from Oklahoma but now in live in Michigan, and of course it is much cooler here especially in the winter and Gracie has really puffed up since we have moved here! Hee hee! She is so adorable!

Joey (Boxer/Beagle) (5 or less Thumbs Up ratings.)

Joey is 7 years old. We were told when we adopted him that he was a boxer/beagle mix, but he kind of looks like an over sized Puggle! We adopted him from anti-cruelty in 2002.

He likes to chew bones, play with Bambi, Milo, and Leroy, chase squirrels, dig holes in the back yard, and beg for food being cooked on the barbeque! Joey is a comedian and is very sweet and gentle! He is the best pet!

Ikwezen (Pomeranian) (5 or less Thumbs Up ratings.)

Ikwezen is a 1 1/2 year old Pomeranian. We rescued her when she was just handed over to a person who can't take of her kids nor an animal. This person left Ikwezen (means little girl in Ojibwe) outside all night with no shelter because the step mom won't allow dogs in the house. She was tied to a shoe lace with no water and no room to relieve herself.

My Boyfriend couldn't just walk by her and not rescue her because hes just like me when it comes to animals. So, he brought her home to me. I instantly fell in love with her and her with me. The girl finally came to see about her a day later and told me I can just have her, which of course I wasn't gonna give her back anyway.

She is also very timid around children and there is a whole lot of them over there. It wouldn't have been safe nor good for her well being to be in that house. So, this was 2 months ago and I have never regretted saving her from a horrible life she would have had.

Ikwezen loves be anywhere I am and she is starting to like rides in cars. She loves to do little dances for treats and go for walks..

I nearly lost my Little Girl last weekend. I noticed fleas on her so I gave her a flea bath in Hartz Ultra Guard.. Never knew the dangers of this stuff because I never had problems with fleas. The next day she was limping and by the middle of the week, she couldn't walk at all. I started doing research and found out the stuff was killing her and I washed her in Dawn dish soap. That saved her life. Today she is slowly getting around again. She is a very strong little dog with a lot of fight and love to give.
