Homemade Halloween Costume Contest!

Do you have a Homemade Halloween Costume ideas to share with the ThriftyFun Community? Submit a photo with instructions for making it and you could win a $25.00(US) prize. We will give away three $25.00 prizes for the best costume entries. The winning entries will be chosen using the ThriftyFun rating feature. ThriftyFun users can vote for tips by clicking the Thumbs Up button.

Contest Rules and Information:

  • If you live outside the US or Canada, we cannot deliver your prize unless you have a Paypal account.

  • All photos should be accompanied by instructions for making the costume.

  • You can submit up to 3 Homemade Halloween Costume ideas.

  • We reserve the right to not publish all submissions. We try to publish as many as possible. We will send you an email if your entry is published so you can encourage your friends and family to vote for your costume on ThriftyFun.

  • Winners will be chosen based on the total number of "thumbs up" ratings costumes get before the end of the contest on November 10th. We will accept submissions until November 5th, 2009, so you can submit your costume after Halloween. Winners will be announced November 15th, 2009.

  • By submitting a Halloween Costume you give ThriftyFun permission to publish it. The goal of the contest is to gather as many creative costume ideas as possible for the ThriftyFun community.

  • No spam please, just Halloween Costume Idaes.

  • Don't submit copyrighted material. If you'd like to submit a link to an interesting photo, please do, just submit the link with an explanation of why you think it would be valuable to our community. Links are not eligable to win this contest.

  • You are allowed to encourage others to vote for your entry. We have a button on every post that helps you share your submission on social networking sites like Facebook, Myspace and Twitter.
