Photo Contest!

Do you have a photo to share with the ThriftyFun Community? Submit a photo with a description and you could win a $25.00(US) prize. We will give away one $25.00 prize each week. The winning photo will be chosen using the ThriftyFun rating feature. ThriftyFun users can vote for tips by clicking the button.

Contest Rules and Information:

• If you live outside the US or Canada, we cannot deliver your prize unless you have a Paypal account.
• All photos should be accompanied by a description of what is in the photo.

• Here are the type of of entries we are looking for:
  • A craft tip with a useful photo
  • Craft instructions with a useful photo
  • Gardening how-to with a photo
  • Garden decoration or or creative planter idea with a photo
  • Organizing tip or how-to with a photo
  • Decorating tip or idea with a photo
  • Wedding tip or idea with photo
  • Cleaning tip or how-to with a photo
  • Country living or frugal living tip with relevant photo
  • Party theme ideas with photo
  • Food tip with a picture

• Not all photo submissions are published. We try to publish as many as possible. We will send you an email when your photo is published so you can encourage your friends and family to vote for your tip on ThriftyFun.
• Winners will be chosen based on the total number of votes they get in the first 10 days after they are published. Tips can still be rated after 10 days, but for the purposes of this contest, we will use the 10 day total to choose winners.
• By submitting a photo you give ThriftyFun permission to publish the photo. The goal of the contest is to gather as many tips as possible for the ThriftyFun community.
• Limit your submission to no more than 5 photos per day.
• Don't submit the same photo more than once. The more you personalize your photo's description, the better. Ideas that have been recently published on ThriftyFun are less likely to be posted than original ideas.
• If you submit more than one photo about the same topic or tip it may be combined into one contest entry at the discretion of the ThriftyFun editors.
• No spam please, just photos with tips.
• Don't submit copyrighted material. If you'd like to submit a link to an interesting photo, please do, just submit the link with an explanation of why you think it would be valuable to our community. Links are not eligable to win this contest.
• Winners are chosen 11 days after the final photo is published in a given week. That gives every photo published in a week, the full 10 days to establish it's 10 day total for this contest.
• You are allowed to encourage others to vote for your photo. We have a button on every post that helps you share your submission on social networking sites like Facebook, Myspace and Twitter.
