I then got into some Multi-level marketing deals that seemed good at the time and I learned a lot about the way business works. I also got experience with office applications, financial accounting, and presentations. The most important thing I learned being on the other side of the paycheck was attitude and appearance does make a difference to clients and employers.
So when I got my computer I thought that maybe there was something that I could do from home over the Internet. I didn't know there was a name for it though. A. The thing that a lot of people complain about is the isolation they feel. If you like working independently though this shouldn't bother you. (Myself being a writer, I find calling another person who works from home in the morning helps take that edge off for other people)
The fact that family can distract you from work and invade your office space.

A. The oldest and most popular telecommuting job is telemarketing.
Today there are all kinds of jobs in the clerical field, computer field, publishing and media is also popular.
There are also jobs in surveying and research that are available to telecommuters.
Q. Where are the best places to find telecommuting jobs?
A. The best place to start is with companies in your own city by calling them and asking if they outsource their clerical work or if there are any positions available within their company that could be telecommuting.
The next thing to do is check your local government employment office for leads.
Then check newspapers and the Internet for employment agencies. Employment sites that deal with telecommuting are becoming popular but any sites that want you to buy information about jobs try to stay away from because you can find most of their jobs for free elsewhere if you search.
