Snowflake Puzzle Ornament
With Christmas coming up soon, I thought I'd pass on this snowflake craft idea.
- Take an old puzzle (with pieces missing, preferably!), that you no longer use, and craft sticks (popsicle sticks).
- I usually use a hot glue gun to glue the sticks together in kind of an asterisk design.
- Then glue puzzle pieces to the sticks.
- Spray paint with white or silver, tie a string on one of the puzzle pieces, or hot glue a hook, and tada, snowflakes to decorate your tree or hang in windows.
I've had many foster kids and they all enjoy this activity. I've thought about using the "snow in a can" but don't know how it would hold up. The white ones look really nice when sprayed with a little bit of spray glitter too. We've used both the small puzzle pieces with the small sticks, or larger pieces with larger sticks! They really look nice when all done!
