Getting Dogs to Stop Marking Territory

I have 2 Chinese Pugs. The father is 6 years old and the son is 3 years old. They hike and pee on almost everything at floor level. Where one goes the other goes behind him. Doors, walls, trash cans, anything they can hike on. Will getting them neutered stop this peeing on everything? I love my dogs but this is driving me crazy.
