Gift Ideas for an "Army" Guy

I am looking for help with a frugal gift for my brother.

I am normally very good at picking out gifts for people around me but I am having a really tough time figuring out what to get my brother. We are not close and don't talk, though we are not at odds or anything. I normally don't get him a gift (he hasn't gotten me one since the 90's! haha) but my father passed away this year and he will be with my mother for the holidays (I can't make it because of work).

We lead completely different lives and have nothing in common which makes it even tougher! I make TONS of stuff including soap, wine, candles and baked goods, none of which he'd be interested in, unfortunately.

He is an army guy (kind of traditional and conservative in a lot of ways) and I am an alternative free-spirit hippy type (he thinks I'm weird! lol)! He's not into colognes or shower stuff, nor does he like it when anyone buys clothes for him. He eats really healthy so no chocolate or junk food either. HELP! He's also 39 years old if that helps.

Any help with this would be much appreciated! I've been thinking about this for awhile and have come up with nothing. Thanks!
