Kitchen Paint Color Advice

I am adding a modern Cherry wood eating table with chairs to a kitchen that has black laminated cabinets, the floor is marble tile mauve and white, with dark green marble border, and, stop, enough colors.

I want to paint walls, trim, and maybe the laminated cabinets as well, although I like the black cabinets. The house is old, thus the kitchen is more rectangular than square, with cabinets and stove on same long wall. The stove is black with. It is about 5 years old. There are huge windows facing East. Presently the walls are white and so is ceiling, with black trim. Help.
