Pumpkin-Carving Party

Think Superbowl and plan a pumpkin-carving party for your friends and family with children. Everyone brings a pumpkin and a food contribution. We make jack-o-lanterns, roast pumpkin seeds, share a simple feast (maybe chili, mac and cheese for the kids, apple cider, etc.) and even toss some of the prepared Halloween cookies you put on a sheet and bake into the oven. After that the kids play, adults chat, and we all have a great time. What a great way to open the holiday season!
