Sandpaper Collars to Deter Slugs

Place a piece of sandpaper around young plants to prevent snails and slugs from eating the tender leaves. The sandpaper cuts their underside if they attempt to cross. The sandpaper will degrade and become compost so there is never a mess to clean later.
