Wall In Garage For More Square Footage

Some friends of ours recently bought a new home. Since neither of them drive, they don't own a car. They had their garage boxed in. They had a contractor put up a wall over the garage door and finish off the rest of the room and ceiling so that it doesn't look like a typical garage. It keeps the desert heat out. Looks nice on the inside and on the outside, you can't tell it's not a drive in garage. If they were to want to sell the home, the garage door covering wall can be removed easily for future buyers. (on a lighter side: another pal of theirs said, "what would you give to be watching if a burglar ever tried to break into their garage, only to find a wall up, instead of easy entry?)
