Great Inexpensive (if not free) Tables

Doors make great tables. I take discarded doors from the town dump and bring them home to use as tables for a garden work table. I take the 5 gallon buckets that cat food or litter sells in, and turn them over to use as the legs of the table. It usually takes 6 buckets per door to make a sturdy table.

Remove all the dead bolts and hinges so you have a flat surface. The storm doors are much heavier to carry, but they are great for the 4 seasons we have in Maine. The lighter indoor doors are great extra tables for yard sales or craft space in the garage. For higher legs, use wooden saw horses.
