Discount Programs For Prescriptions

We are without prescription coverage right now despite having insurance. Today I went to Fred's pharmacy and they signed me up for their discount program. I had no idea how much I was getting off, just know I have to price my meds. every time before I am able to get them and then decide which is most important. So today, I had two that were filled. I got 2 scripts for $11.83. I was told retail cash price on them would have been about $32 total. So I figure 63% savings. I was blown away, to put it mildly.

There were no signs about this program that I saw, the clerk brought it up last time after I had already paid for my medication. She said we could do it next time. I was guessing I'd get 10% or something like that and that would have been great too, but this was fantastic. Thank God for that. Anymore we are doing good to pay for our highway robbery price insurance. Then can't afford to use it to go to the doctor! Then when I finally go to the doctor, sometimes I can't afford to fill the prescriptions for a while!! This saved the day because I figured I'd only been able to fill one of them today.
