Removing Gasoline Smell from Wood Furniture

Does anyone know how to remove gasoline smell from wood? I purchased a 1930s dresser at a garage sale and discovered three of the drawers contained a strong gasoline odor. The dresser is in excellent condition and the price was $10, a real find.
