Easter Bunny Poem

People buy cute cuddly baby rabbits on impulse for children at Easter. They don't realize that a bunny is not a low-maintaince pet and they don't stay cuddly babies. The family gets bored with the rabbit and they end up at the animal shelter. This happens with rabbits more so than with other kinds of pets. This is a poem about such an easter rabbit.

It was colorful and fun
The new life that I'd begun
In my new cage.
