Dog Has Smelly Feet

My 3 year old dog has smelly feet! When his feet gets warm even the sheets and blankets smell! I have taken him to two different vets. They tell me it's normal. I'm 50 and have had dogs all my life and never have I had a dog's feet smell so bad. HELP!
