Cleaning Up Kerosine Spill on Non-leather Couch

We had an old kerosine lamp fall off of a mantle in the living room and onto the couch. Some of the kerosine spilled onto the corner of the couch. Does anyone know what I can use to absorb the oil? What is good to use for the stain and smell? Thanks!
