Mayonnaise for Dandruff

I have been using hair relaxers since I once young. However, now I am going natural and getting my hair straightened every two weeks. One question: Does the mayonnaise treatment help with dandruff? My hair is growing but the dandruff is ridiculous. Please help. Due to my hair going back to the natural state I do not want to wash in between my appointments. DB
