Hamburger and Lima Bean Casserole

Easy casserole dish.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb.hamburger
  • 1 package frozen lima beans
Sauce
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 onion
  • 2 Tbsp. shortening
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup lima bean juice

Directions:

Brown hamburger. Cook the lima beans according to package instructions. Save juice to use in sauce.

Bring sauce ingredients to a boil. Put 1 cup lima beans in a deep baking dish. Then add 1/2 of hamburger, then 1/2 of sauce and repeat. Bake 1 hour at 325 degrees F. with no lid. Serves 4-5.
