Planning a Trip

In July my family is planning to take a trip to Maryland and then to Cooperstown, NY. We are very excited but need some help making this trip as inexpensive as possible. Any advice on what to take and how to pack for 3-4 people would be much appreciated. As well as one of those is my daughter. She will be 9 months at the time of the trip. She is our first and will be breastfeeding only until 6 months of age and I'm not sure what/how much she should be eating at that time. Once again any advice would be much appreciated.
