What happens if the glue is already glued onto my shirt/dress? I don't know what material it is either. I tried to glue a bead that had fell off and when I went to test the fabric glue it squirted on my shirt! Then I glued the beads and tried to dry off the spot with a wet paper towel. it is the next morning and there is still a spot! Someone please help I love this shirt!

I have tried peeling the name sticker off a football jersey it was ironed on. Do you have any tips or help you can give me? :(

I used the scotch tape as I like to avoid chemicals whenever possible. It worked eventually. Do not give up with only one application. I did it over and over - sometimes grabbing a piece that was pulling up with the tape to "help" it off. It did work well though takes some determination. Still way better than having to use chemicals in my opinion!

The scotch tape is the best (john's). I just took off sticker glue from a cotton sweater that has been there through several washes.

I just voted and placed the I VOTED sticker on the lapel of my new polyester jacket only to find out it left a adhesive stain when I peeled it off later. My girlfriend suggested placing scotch tape across the area and pressing down with your finger then quickly ripping it off. Worked like a charm!

Brake cleaner (non flamable) works instantly on polyester to remove sticker adhesive out of clothing.

A solvent that you can get at Home Depot: Goof Off. It removed all the adhesive left on a couple of hockey jerseys that I took the name bars off of in seconds.

I just used the paper towel trick by placing the paper towel over the adhesive, putting a cloth over the towel, and ironing. It worked like a charm. Thanks!

My daughter got fabric adhesive on her jeans, she washed them, thinking it would come out in the wash! Now she gave them to me her mom to figure out how to remove it. I soaked them in water. I used goo gone and no luck yet? Any suggestions?(

I am a professional and I would recommend that you use glue, as your daughter has got glue on her clothing. So you don't burn the material put a cloth over the item of clothing and on the part the glue is sticking to the material. Thanks and I hope that I have helped you in some way. Thanks x

Deep Woods Off (bug spray) removes tree sap from clothes -- perhaps it would also remove adhesive!
