Pictures Stuck to FramesBy Elly O. from Irving, TX Feedback About This Post:RE: Pictures Stuck to Frames
Water will not hurt the prints. In fact, that is the last solution that they are run through during processing. Post by Noella RE: Pictures Stuck to Frames
I have taken advice from archivists and have learned that water alone doesn't hurt prints. Post by notetotel RE: Pictures Stuck to FramesDon't try to pull the pic off the glass. Remove the glass from the frame, and make copies like that! Either at home, or somewhere else. To help prevent in future; glue strips of felt that match color of frame, on the inside, between the glass and the photo. Let dry for several days, then replace. Post by fatboyslimsmom RE: Pictures Stuck to FramesI have the same problem, and I won't even try to remove them, for fear that my priceless pictures will be ruined. Post by vguy Archived Request: Pictures Stuck to Frames
I'm wondering if anyone has an idea for this problem. I've noticed that moisture or something has gotten inside some of my picture frames. This has caused the picture to become stuck to the glass. I can't pull them off because part of the picture will stay stuck to the glass. I'd like to unstick them, and also, prevent it from happening again. It seems to mostly be on the bottom corners of the framed pictures. My mom suggested that I try a steam iron, but we were afraid it might ruin the picture even more. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Post by ThriftyFun |
