A co-worker gave me the idea to paint small smooth rocks (we have a lot of such rocks here on the shores of Lake Erie) with pretty flowers, rainbows, animals, handprints, or even names. This is a fun and easy craft to do with kids. You can then give the painted rocks as gifts to your gardener friends and relatives, to place in their gardens, or put them in your own garden to admire. Post by ThriftyFun RE: Painting RocksYou could also glue googly eyes, some fun fur, a bead (for the nose)and some red string to create rock, people. Try putting ears on it and a tail and you will get a rock pet you do not need to feed. Post by the_mouse_2b |
