Request: 40th Birthday Ideas

Greetings from South Africa! My brother-in-law is turning the big 40 in December. They're throwing him a massive b/day bash with the "Naughty Fourties" theme. His brothers are planning on giving him gifts in line with the theme. What can I give that will be original and memorable? All ideas and assistance will be very welcome! Regards.

Over the Hill Gift

Give your over-the-hill friend a paintbrush with a note to let them know it
is an over-the-hill makeup brush. If you're crafty, you could even paint it
on the handle or write it with a paint marker. - Heather

40th birthday bash

we purchased empty pill bottles at the drug store. filled them with red hots. labeled them a 'virgira' claming that they would restore hair, make you slimmer, etc.
our daughter had a 'boob cake' made for her dad - it was a cake in a double hump decorated like a lacey bra. it got a good response.
drug stores and novelty shops usually have buttons with cute sayings, banners, etc. good luck . and have a great time at this once in a lifetime event for this gent!

Not so much a gift, but...

Not so much a gift, but a cute card is to take a blank card, glue 4 tea bags in a row and label it "Happy 4 Tea Birthday".

Make the invitations...

Make the invitations using pictures throughout his life. Collected empty Metamucil containers and filled with sand
and then had pink & turquoise ballons coming out as the centerpieces. Also put false teeth and other sillies around bottom of centerpiece. It is a lot of fun. Visited several of the local nursing homes to gather the empty containers. They were a lot of help.
