Recycling Glass

Glass is 100% recyclable. Recycling one glass bottle instead of making a new one saves enough energy to light a 100 watt bulb for 4 years. Glass produced from recycled glass instead of raw material reduces related air pollution by 20 percent and water pollution by 50 percent. Reusing glass bottles is even simpler and more environmentally friendly.

RE: Recycling Glass

I would like to try a mosaic project using broken glass - does anyone know what medium you use with it to apply to wood? Does regular grout work? I think this would be a really good way to reuse broken glass.

RE: Recycling Glass

i found a good way to use old bottles is to break them up with a hammer in a zipper bag and use the pieces as mosaic pieces
