Post By Marianne (Guest Post) RE: Idea For Reusing Tidy-Cat Kitty Litter ContainersI used my tidy litter bags to make 'green' grocery bags to give as holiday gifts. Post By Ellen in Des Moines (Guest Post) RE: Idea For Reusing Tidy-Cat Kitty Litter ContainersI AM planning on using them for winter salt containers @ my work place. Hoping to find a source for free. I won't have emptied enough by the time I need them. Post By Ruby. (Guest Post) RE: Idea For Reusing Tidy-Cat Kitty Litter Containers
You can get the label off using Brasso and a lot of elbow grease. Post By Robert (Guest Post) RE: Idea For Reusing Tidy-Cat Kitty Litter ContainersUse them for container gardening veggies. The size is perfect for tomatoes, peppers, squah and more. Post by Katmommy Bike BucketsI've put over 3000 km of bicycle touring and probably as much distance just going to and from shopping with my re-used buckets. They're really sturdy and come on and off easily - sometime I bring them into the store to save having to hunt for a basket. To cover the imprinted labels try Contact Paper .. it comes in so many cute patterns and can be written on with Sharpies to create labels! I did this with just regular rubbermaid plastic tubs to keep closets organized and it's held up pretty well! Post by Madelynnsmama Reusing Litter Buckets
How does one cover up the labeling (which is now printed onto the container itself) permanently. Post By Jasmine (Guest Post) RE: Idea For Reusing Tidy-Cat Kitty Litter Containers
I use them to store cat food when I buy the big bags of cat food. The food is protecxted from other critters and insects. Post by creaky RE: Idea For Reusing Tidy-Cat Kitty Litter ContainersWe use them for storage of: cheaper bagged cat litter, dry cat food, guinea pig food pellets, salt for winter ice, small garden tools (provides a seat to rest & a bucket for weeds!), potting soil, toy building sets w/ many parts, small tools & fix-it supplies, etc. We often cut the label off the bag of cat food or whatever & tape it to the litter bucket for easy identification. Other uses: cleaning & car washing buckets, soaking buckets for soiled clothing (esp. at potty training! put the lid on to keep kids safe!), sick room buckets, small trash cans, post more... (Wash with warm, soapy water first) Post by ThriftyFun RE: Idea For Reusing Tidy-Cat Kitty Litter ContainersMy daughter uses those for storage of yarn. I keep an empty one next to the cat box. When I clean the cat box, I put the stuff in the plastic bags we carry groceries in, then knot it up and store it in the empty kitty litter box so that it is all in one place when garbage day comes. Then I empty it into the garbage can and refill it again. If the bags are knotted, they won't leak litter or smell. But, if it starts to smell, put baking soda in the bottom of it or a fabric softener sheet. Post by jaxi3 |
