Nail Polish in My Washer

My daughter left a bottle of hot pink fingernail polish in her jeans pocket. It is all over my electric dryer with steel metal drum. What can I use to clean it?

Um....polish remover? I don't think it will harm the steel drum. Just wipe afterwards with a damp cloth to remove any residue before drying the next load.
