Stains From Air Freshener on Bathroom Mirror

I seem to have a cloudy film on my mirror that I believe has come from spraying air freshener in the room. My problem is I have tried vinegar, water and glass cleaner. It seems to just smear it. Any ideas?

You could try awesome from the dollar store. My dh uses it on the inside of his suv windsheild and it works great, as we are both smokers. I use awesome for a lot of cleaning, it is (no pun intended) awesome, and only $1, cant beat that

I had a spotted coating on my eyeglasses recently. I tried every cleaner I had to no avail. I finally tried nail polish remover in desperation and it worked like a charm. Try non-acetone first to be safe.

how about a straight edge razor. just try shaving it off then working it with alcohol or vinegar.

I would try plain, old, straight rubbing alcohol. A lot of glass cleaners are made with rubbing alcohol and water, and I know you tried glass cleaner, but maybe undiluted alcohol will work.
