This is Baby. She is 3 1/2 years old and I just love her to pieces! She is the most lovable little dog! She belongs to my daughter and me. We have shared parenting! She is a Chi-weenie! A little overweight but we are working on it!
In this photo, I was taking a little ride on a motorcycle and she was "worried" about me. The vet says Baby has the most remarkable facial expressions!

My dog, Rex, is positively a chihuahua min dachshund mix. He looks so much like his parents! but the date isn't correct, sorry! The actual date is 28/09/09.

I would check into a mini pinsher / daschund mix. That's what Boo is (pictured) she is about 1.5 years old and weighs about 13 lbs.

A couple of these dogs up here are "jugs" or jack Russell terrier/pug mixes. That's what I have.

Look at images of miniature doberman (not pinchers). Some of these dogs may be a chihuahua/mini doberman mix or a min doberman/dachshund mix.

I think my Bella might be a Chihuahua mini-dachshund mix. When we adopted her about 5 months ago and the SPCA said she was a Mini Dachshund but couldn't decipher the other mixes. Some people have told me she looks like a mini-Dachshund/Chihuahua mix or Mini-Dachshund Rat terrier. I love her with all my heart no matter what she is but I would really like to know.

My husband bought what he thought and was told a full blooded chihuahua but we have both had our suspicions that he is mixed. The people he bought him from would not let him see the parents or the other puppies. We also think that he is older than they told us. We love our "puppy" but is there anything we could do about this situation? What is this mix worth? This is Harley, our chi-wienie.

This is my Chihuahua/Daschund mix Ivan. I've found that a lot of these Chiweenies have one floppy ear for some reason. He's the sweetest dog and loves to cuddle. He also loves to hide under the blankets....similar to Daschunds.

I came here and saw that dog that looks just like mine, and he is part Jack Russell. I wasn't sure what his dad was but after looking at the photos I would say dachshund. So I would say your dogs other half is Jack Russell.

Hey wow its so strange to see so many dachshund mixes! We adopted one from the pound a few months ago and have been trying to figure out what she is crossed with. She's very much doxie but with some slight differences. Arrrgh she's a crazy dog...very full on!

I just got my rescue dog today. She's 3 years old and 14 lbs. (But she's a bit overweight) My guess is my dog is a chi-weenie, or as a previous post said, a weenie-wawa. I've only had her 12 hours but she has not barked once. Not at other dogs barking at her, not cars, not people, or outside noises. Curious yes. and Quiet. A good match for me. Her name? Daisy (I think).

I just got a chihuahua dachshund mix puppy. He is so sweet. I also have a full bred chihuahua "gizmo" and he to has a broad chest. Sorry to tell you but the pic of your pup looks like he could be gizmos twin!

This is a chihuahua dachshund. I used to have one. He looked exactly like this dog. Max(my old dog) was a spitting-image of this dog, and Max WAS a chihuahua dachshund. No Questions Asked.

She looks like min-pin. It's a terrier breed. They are leggy with the same markings and they are cute. A little cutie; as far as I can tell.

The lighter colored eyebrows, legs, and muzzle is a dachshund thing ( though could be min pin b/c they are also small but skinny with longer legs) And the bug eyes a chihuahua thing. Your mom is probably right. Does she have a deep chest? (dachsunds do.) If she has short legs, bug eyes, a deep chest, and a long body - dachshund/chihuahua is probably right.

instead of the chihuahua it might have be mini-pinsher. My dog resembles a chihuahua but has some miniature pinsher in him. It may help us if you have a pic taken farther away so I can see the whole dog and not just a face closeup

I agree you can't really tell much from this picture. I have owned 3 LH dachshunds and might be able to help with a better picture. If that's not possible, does she have an elongated body and 'low-rider' legs? If so, probably some dachshund.
