My Granddaughter needed her temporary tattoo removed for a dance recital and I tried most of the suggestions with no success. In desperation I used Goo Be Gone. The tattoo came off instantly.

We tried olive oil, baby oil, and baby wipes; nothing worked.
The best suggestion... SCOTCH TAPE! Worked in one second. Amazing!

Olive oil on a paper towel rubbed on the tattoo works GREAT and doesn't irritate the child's skin.

BABY OIL on a towel... the temp tatoo comes right off!!

Get a pumice block like that used to smooth elbows and heels. (Dr. Scholls or similar.) Scrub very gently (childrens' skin is more fragile than adults') using the block and some cold cream or Noxzema. Keep the pumice particles out of little eyes. The same caution goes for nail polish remover if it is tried.

Waterproof sunscreen lotion will remove them every time!

WE USED TO TAKE A LITTLE BIT OF BABY OIL TO REMOVE THEM FROM OUR KIDS.

Rubbing alcohol sometimes works. I've never tried it but I think nail polish remover might help.

Try rubbing baby oil on it. That may work. If not, Huggies baby wipes have worked for me in the past... my 5 year old likes tattoos, and they take it off, you just have to work at it a little bit!
