Mower With a Briggs & Stratton Engine Won't StartBy vincentb from Lakeland, TN Feedback About This Post:RE: Mower With a Briggs & Stratton Engine Won't Start
Well, got it to start. Put a new plug and new fuel filter. Charged the battery and changed the bolt on the negative terminal because it looked like it wasn't making good contact. I know I have gas flow to the carb for sure. It will start but won't stay running for longer than a few seconds. It is being starved for gas. It will run when I spray starting fluid down the carb until the fluid runs out. Post by vincentb RE: Mower With a Briggs & Stratton Engine Won't StartI know this sounds silly, but did you replace your spark plug with a new one? Might be worth a try. Post by hedera RE: Mower With a Briggs & Stratton Engine Won't StartWhat is the make and model of your riding mower? I have access to several manuals and have worked on many riding mowers.
