Refurbished Computers

If you are looking for a deal on a computer and are leery of buying one from an online auction, you may want to consider refurbished computers. Large computer manufacturers like Dell and Apple sell refurbished computers with warranties at a 15% to 40% discount over buying the computer new. The benefit of buying them from the manufacturer is they come with a much longer warranty than you will get from an online auction, where items are usually sold as-is with the only guarantee being the item will not arrive dead on arrival.

RE: Refurbished Computers

I used a refurbished monitor for 6-8 years (it still works but my kids bought me a new one.
I am also using a refurbished printer/scanner/copier (4-5 yrs) and a refurbished copier (1.5 years). I wouldn't hesitate to buy refurbished - it saves a lot!
