Thanks!

RE: Making Rag Rugs

I want to see a picture or a diagram of how to put a rag rug together. My Mother used to make them and she's gone now so I want to start the tradition back up again.

RE: Making Rag Rugs

I'm about to start making a rag rug for my victorian home that we are remodeling. I plan a large rug, about 7'x10' for my kitchen floor. Maybe it will be ready by spring.

RE: Making Rag Rugs

My great grandma used to make rag rugs but I was to young to remeber how she did it. Well now that I'm older, I would like to continue the tradition. So I have started my search on how they are done.

RE: Making Rag Rugs

I did a Yahoo search for 'free rag rug instructions' and here are two of the sites that came up:

Rugmaker's Homestead:

Make Braided rugs from old fabric scraps

Hope this help. Have fun making your rugs!
