Unfortunately the tar & nicotine go right in to the microfiber & the padding. The easiest fix would be to spray Febreze on it, everywhere. You'd have to use quite a lot! Second idea is if you can get the cushions off you can wash them in cold water with a little soap & here's the magic ingredient: Coca-Cola.Yes! Coke is what the pros recommended we used to get the nasty smoke smell out of my washable things after we had a house fire. If those 2 don't work there's a surefire way to get rid of that smell.
