f) Use potted plants instead of cut flowers. In fact, if you start early enough, you can grow your own flowering potted plants.

Use bows on pews that you make yourself, instead of flowers. Perhaps carry a treasured Bible instead of a bouquet. Buy bulk "growers bunches" of all 1 kind of flower from Costco or other warehosue and put inexpensive "ivy bowls" ($1 each at Michael's )" with water and greenery on tables, perhaps on a mirror tile bought at Home Depot to double the effect. Plants on tables are great, and can be dressed up with water picks with a few sprigs or buds of flowers stuck into them (mini-carns , baby's breath, waxflowerr, alstromeria woiuld be great).
