Blood on White T-shirt

My son got blood all over his favorite white t-shirt and it has writing on the front so cannot use regular bleach on it. Any suggestions would be appreciated?

Thanks in advance,

Milk is best for getting out blood.

Dear Grammer
soak the t shirt in cold water with salt added to it and leave it over night. the salt will dissolve the blood. then use a mild soap to wash the t shirt until all residue is out. my husband is really handy at getting fish blood on his clothes, when he cleans his catch and I use this method all time on his white t shirts. works beautifully...

If the hydrogen peroxide doesn't work, try one of the new bleach pens--that way you can only bleach the stained area.

Rub cheap shampoo on the blood stains and soak it in a bucket of cold water. This has worked wonders for me in the past.

I agree - peroxide. Also, after the peroxide treatment, let it sit outside in the sunshine for awhile.

If it's not too dry/or too late--

Try Peroxide--it works wonders on fresh blood..

Try soaking in a hydrogen peroxide solution. If the blood hasn't dried this should do the trick.
