Repairing a Dog Halter

I have a dog halter that I've had for 2 hours now and my 7 month puppy chewed through it! I want to repair it but do not know what would be the best thing to use. It is not a hard mesh but a soft woven cord. The ends are a scissor type cut not shredded. Anyone have any suggestions?

RE: Repairing a Dog Halter

I used a metal key ring to repair my dog's harness looping it through both pieces.

I have three dogs and any repair on harnesses or leashes, I use cable ties. You can find them at any home improvement or hardware stores, very secure. Hope this helps.
