Post By Carole (Guest Post) RE: Reusing Foil Cereal BagsYou can tie them to fruit trees to scare birds away. GG Vi Post by Great Granny Vi RE: Reusing Foil Cereal BagsI use these bags when I am breading chicken or chops and also I use them when I want to pound out a porkchop or steak to make stuffed steak or chops. They do not tear when you use a mallet on the meat. Also good for chicken breasts. Post By Sandy (Guest Post) RE: Reusing Foil Cereal BagsThe bags are Mylar reather than alum. and can be heat sealed to store any number of things, if you have a vacuum sealer that's even better, Mylar is impervious to water and you won't lose vacuum if properly sealed.
