Planning Your Garden

Take time to plan your garden, on paper, to make the most of what space you have available. Keep track of the brands and varieties you use, that you might like to plant again, next year. Make notes on what kinds didn't work as well as you'd have liked, so you don't make the same mistake another time.

I cut some mini blinds using a sharp kitchen knife. Just cut the header of the mini blind making sure it doesn't interefere with any of the working parts. I didn't have to trim the slats on mine because my mini blind was only slightly larger than the cased opening. The slats shouldn't be too hard to trim.
