Mock Ice Cream Sandwich

Only 1 point for Weight Watchers. The Cool Whip softens the graham crackers up some and they do actually taste like ice cream sandwiches. Make a big batch and freeze for later use.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Graham Cracker rectangle
  • 2 Tbsp. Cool Whip Free

Directions:

Break the graham cracker into two squares. Spread one square with the Cool whip, top with the other square. Wrap in plastic wrap or foil and freeze 1 hour or more.

This sounds lovely! To the point of adding different flavors, how about adding juice from strawberries? Sounds delish!

On nekocat's comment: ditto on the non-dairy topping in the tub, be it brand name or generic. Somebody actually did a 12-day experiment with that stuff to show their child the difference between it and real whipped cream. It's an eye-opener:

Squirrely's got the right idea with using the "real stuff" on this one.

Try using real whipping cream (whipped and sweetened), on the chocolate graham crackers too! You could even flavor the whipping cream with coffee or some of the other syrups they use for coffees and such.

RE: Mock Ice Cream Sandwich

It's wonderful tasting, but these non-dairy products are full of stuff that never should be ingested by humans-plastics for one. br cautious, and use the healthiest ingredients you can find. Processed foods often have chemicals that make them smooth that you'd never think of putting in your body, and they cause weight gain. Read up on it, it should be online somewhere.
