Nzymes.com for granules to sub for not being able to do raw. very small spoonful according to size and your dog will have better tummy, skin, joints, poop, - all around. Good for people too. I also do Willard's water and colloidal silver to keep them well. Some cottage cheese, a spoon of yogurt (or 6). I do rescue and I have yet to see that a dog or cat didn't vastly improve. They love it. It's like ice cream to them. Love and hug and kiss em, too. They return so much. Hugs to you and all critters.

My favorite food Pet Promise, made by Dr. Andrew Weil, is sadly ending production at the end of this year :-(
I also feed my dogs Pet Guard from Whole Foods which has terrific, pure ingredients. In between, my dogs get sardines for the protein & Omega 3, and various fruits and vegetables like organic apples and tomatoes. I make sure to keep up with warnings from the ASPCA about harmful foods like grapes.
My close friend swears by a raw diet for her big breed dogs, but I haven't got the nerve to switch to raw.

You can get scraps from butcher or meat market and make "Meat Muffins" out of it. Mix like you would a meatloaf. I add oatmeal, egg, rice, and garlic, with alittle salt and pepper. Cook in muffin tins. I use the large muffin tins and split the meat muffin in half - so it serves for two meals. Sometimes I will add it to some left over broth before I serve it. Any questions, let me know. My dog is a picky eater.
