Cleaning Paved DrivewaysFeedback About This Post:RE: Cleaning Paved DrivewaysWhat about weeds popping through, vinegar or gas.? Round-up is too expensive. Post By Sue Sue (Guest Post) RE: Cleaning Paved DrivewaysTo get out stubborn oil stains, etc, cover the spot with kitty litter for a few days. Then sweep away the kitty litter and take a 2 liter cola (we always got the 25 cent store brand) and pour it over the stains. Leave it overnight. In the morning, hose off the cola and the stains should be gone. The kitty litter absorbs much of the oil and the acids in the cola will break down what's left. Have you gotten motor oils and/or other fluids spilled in your paved driveways? Use a scrub brush, liquid dish soap in water to remove them. Post by ThriftyFun |
