hey..uhm..my mom was curling my hair for a bigg occasion (my cousin's wedding) and she kept spraying hair spray on the barrel while the curl was on it and i thought ii was doomed and id have to throw it out nd get a new one..and when ii got it hot and put it to my hair id try to curl it nd it would not work but when ii read all these comments ii decided to use nail polish remover on it and ii did and it pretty much took off some of the residuee..
