Lasagna Without Ricotta CheeseBy rrrrb4 from Monroe, LA Feedback About This Post:RE: Lasagna Without Ricotta CheeseMashed tofu works too. Just smash it to the consistency of cottage cheese. Post by pigeon toes RE: Lasagna Without Ricotta CheeseMy Mom makes her lasagna with only mozzarella cheese and it tastes yummy! Post by Maryeileen RE: Lasagna Without Ricotta CheeseMy mom hates ricotta so we have always used cottage cheese. You can mix it up and use whatever you like. Ricotta and cottage cheese have a lot of liquid in them so if you switch out to something else you might want to accommodate for that, maybe with milk or something. Post by micksgirl RE: Lasagna Without Ricotta CheeseI never cared for cottage cheese or ricotta so I use velveeta and mozarella cheeses in my lasagna. My family and friends love it. Post by AZyellowbird RE: Lasagna Without Ricotta CheeseYou can also mix Philadelphia cream cheese with the cottage cheese. Post by cats21dog RE: Lasagna Without Ricotta CheeseI agree with the cottage cheese. My mom used it for eons and it tasted just perfect. Post by GaJan RE: Lasagna Without Ricotta CheeseNo you can use cottage cheese in place of Ricotta cheese. I've used cottage cheese in my lasagna for years and it's delicious. You can't tell the difference in the taste. Post by MCW |
