Keeping Your Work Area Clean

Tape a common paper lunch bag to the top of the back of your sewing machine to dispose of thread and fabric snips as you sew. This keeps your sewing area neater.

RE: Keeping Your Work Area Clean

I, too, like to use a bag or trash can at my sewing machine. I usually use a small trash can (bathroom size) or a paper sack with the top folded back and place it at my feet to my left. I am left handed and find that is the way I turn to cut off thread snips or scraps that I am trimming.
