Cereal Bags for Kitchen ChoresBy Kathleen from Dothan, AL Feedback About This Post:RE: Cereal Bags for Kitchen ChoresI just love this site. You can learn so many money saving ideas. I thought I knew everything about saving things. My kids go nuts when I tell them to save the yogurt cups and lids from ice cream pails to use when we go camping for cups and plates, but this idea is so great I can't wait to try it. Post by justhelpingout RE: Cereal Bags for Kitchen ChoresExactly, Kathleen! Why waste anything? If we all consider the fact that anything we throw away goes into a landfill and most of it isn't biodegradable, we might try harder to reuse what we have and use less of whatever we can cut down on. Three cheers for you! Post By Enter your name. (Guest Post) RE: Cereal Bags for Kitchen ChoresI use them when I make crumbs with my rolling pin. I like these other ideas, too. I also use them as mini garbage bags, for instance, when I skin chicken and don't use the skin, or have anything that I don't want to smell in the garbage can, which is a small roll out one under my sink. I just dump it in the bag and throw it out. Makes it a lot cleaner too. Post by LI Roe RE: Cereal Bags for Kitchen ChoresI might add, that I cut a cereal box in half and use that to store those cereal bags in. I also use one to store small brown paper bags and pieces of clean used aluminum foil in.. Post by WIsgal RE: Cereal Bags for Kitchen ChoresI use these bags instead of expensive freezer bags. When I repackage meat, I use large sandwich bags (much cheaper then storage or freezer) then stick them in the cereal bags; never had freezer burn! Post By S Balf (Guest Post) |
