Press into pie pan or baking dish. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes, then let cool. For the filling; place 3/4 cup sugar, 2 tbs clear Karo syrup, 3 1/2 Tbs cornstarch and 1 cup water in sauce pan. Cook until thick and clear, stiring often. Add 2 Tbs strawberry jello (or 2 tsps if using sugar free). mix well and let cool. Add 1 quart sliced strawberries then pour into cooled crust. Chill and top with cool whip. Enjoy. Post by bjptl RE: Jell-o Strawberry Pie Recipe

I don't know if this is what you are looking for -- the only cornstarch is in the Jell-O -- but this is quick and no bake, great for a hot day! Post by perfume and powder RE: Jell-o Strawberry Pie Recipe
