Use Cast Iron Whenever PossibleBy Laura from Long Beach, CA Feedback About This Post:RE: Use Cast Iron Whenever PossibleI have used cast iron pans, all of my life, & there is nothing like them. I have tried some of the high priced pans out there on the market today, but I always go back to my cast iron pans. I do not like the idea of eating Teflon, & I don't care how well you take care of the stuff, it always chips off, & you end up eating it, without even knowing it! I'll take the iron any day! Post By Wanda (Guest Post) RE: Use Cast Iron Whenever PossibleI remember reading that there was little anemia years ago because everyone used cast iron to cook all their meals in. I immediately went out and bought some, started using it, and absolutely love mine. Maybe progress hasn't been all good. Post by susanmajp RE: Use Cast Iron Whenever PossibleI love my cast iron too. I have a big set that I inherited when my brother passed away. Things taste great when cooked in cast iron.
