Elastic for SewingBy DebB P Feedback About This Post:RE: Elastic for Sewing
I want to replace the elastic in the waste of my good slacks. I've removed the old and thrown it away. However, how do I measure off the correct amount for the new elastic? Post By Sharon (Guest Post) RE: Elastic for SewingFor about 30 years I've used the elastic from worn out support hose to go in the top of slacks I've made. They out last the slacks. Sometimes I take it out of worn out slacks and put it in new slacks. I haven't bought elastic in 30 years. If I donate slacks I don't like, I take the elastic out.
